Dynamic range of a camera’s sensor varies per model. Some manufacturers are better than others. The chart below shows scientific, but real world results of testing a camera sensor’s dynamic range. The tests were done by DXOmark.

The important thing to notice here is that everyone there is evenly lit, whether closer to the camera, or further away. This is achieved by NOT bouncing the flash off the ceiling towards my subject … but rather to flag my flash so that there is no direct flash falling on my subject. And then I bounce my flash off some point equi-distant to everyone. Then the light has the same distance to travel to everyone … and everyone will be evenly illuminated by the flash. NO need for the local correction brush in ACR / Lightroom. It’s all done in camera!

Радиопульт с экранчиком Phottix Hero
С подачи Дениса Степанцова (aka den_hunter) попал в мои потные ручонки на тестирование вот такой вот интересный агрегат:
Если вкратце, то это радипускатель для фотокамеры, отличающийся от сотен аналогов наличием экранчика (2,4″ LCD) на пульте и, соответственно, минивидеокамеры на ответной части, крепящейся к видоискателю фотоаппарата. Кроме изображения на пульт передаются так же звуки, которые «слышит» фотоаппарат. Сигнал передается на частоте 2.4GHz.

The term High key typically refers to photos with dominant highlight tones. Most “correctly” exposed photos should have the key or main tone at the midpoint between white and blackpoint. By shifting the keytone up (high key) or down (low key), the photos can be made to convey different moods. High key photos can convey happy, relaxed mood while low key brings drama and tension.
